CRAZY WORRIES!

"So, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

This will be short and sweet, but in many ways this blog serves as therapy to the anxiety I am experiencing at this very moment! The nail biting, sweaty palm, pale faced look of an anxiety ridden soul!  Yes, I have claimed the Bible verse above, and I am repeating it continuously! "PLEASE, HEART, STOP POUNDING!"

Today is the day I go to take my final teacher certification test! I have studied, (my bulging brain would prove it!) But, it is now time to relax before the test, to trust that I am prepared and to rest in the knowledge that- "IT IS WELL"

So, as I prepare to go forth and demonstrate the knowledge I have procured~ Boy! That sounded smart, maybe I will be O.K. = ), I go with my promise from God that He is with me, the sweet thoughts and prayers of many friends, and a song in my heart from my one of my FAVORITE groups of all times; "VEGGIE TALES".  Here is a snippet from one of their songs "Fear Not Daniel"...

"Daniel (Larry): Oh, no! What am I gonna do?
It looks like I'm gonna end up as lion stew!
Narrator: Don't cry, Daniel!
Fear not, Daniel!
Don't you know you're not alone?
There is One who is watching you
He listens when you pray
And though it seems this time you won't get through,
God has made a way"

Out of my way, you snarling lions, you fretful fears and nagging worries!  I go forth positively, confidently and joyfully, expecting the best! And when all is said and done, I have a "Girl's Night Out' to look forward to!  (Just typing that makes me feel better!)  I EXPECT SUCCESS!

So, I am prepared, I have planned, I am trusting, I know others are praying, I have a song in my heart, and something to look forward to at the end! My nerves are already feeling less CRAZY

Hope this blog gives you some ideas on how to work on those CRAZY WORRIES.  After all,  they just aren't worth carrying around!

I will see you on the flip side of my test, and time with my friends... KNOWING I will SUCCEED!

Without Fear, But A Smile on my face, and Laughter on my lips,

Patti
