My "CRAZY BEAUTIFUL" Florida Spring Finds!

Just wanted to share some of my pictures I have been taking over the past week.  These pictures show a beautiful array of Florida Gulf Coast’s Springtime flowers, nature, and new life, as well as spring time ‘thingys’ I find beautiful… ENJOY!

An assortment of Wild Roses.... So pretty!

The "Camellia" in all of its splendor!

"Gratitude" and "perfection"~ that is what for camellia stands is the bloom which amidst its essence, dreams, passion and luster has delineated the very term "love" over and over again.

“O Reader! hast thou ever stood to see The Holly-tree? The eye that contemplates it well perceives Its glossy leaves Ordered by an Intelligence so wise As might confound the Atheist's sophistries.”
Robert Southey

They are sunshine, food, and medicine for the soul"
Luther Burbank

can you believe these little beauties are actually a weed?

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I am not sure of the following varieties~
but they are still breathtaking!

If you've never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom,
maybe your soul has never been in bloom.~Terri Guillemets

Blue thou art, intensely blue; Flower,
whence came thy dazzling hue?
James Montgomery

The Birds &..
A hungry little bluebird...
nothing 'tweeter'!

The Bees
"Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers."
Robert Green Ingersoll

"Flowers seem intended for the solace of ordinary humanity."  ~John Ruskin

Come and visit me again... who can tell what my next blog will have in store!  Living, Loving, Laughing, and smelling the roses!

  1. Oh how i miss Florida ! It's been a year since we've left and I can still imagine the smell of spring there - miss the blooms, gators, and waterfowl that used to linger everywhere we turned ! Thanks for taking me back virtually - bitter sweet ! The back's better - guess it's the 3rd trimester pains and aches i have to get through. Hope all's good on your end ! Happy weekend !!

And if you ever revisit... you'll have to swing by the Gulf Coast and we can do some 'scrappin'! : ) Have a wonderful weekend and take care of yourself!
